Attorney Godshalk graduated in 1987 from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana and attended Law School at Valparaiso University School of Law in Valparaiso, Indiana graduating in 1990 and passing the bar examination before graduation.

Attorney Godshalk is licensed to practice in all state civil and criminal courts in Indiana as well as both the Northern and Southern Districts of the Federal Court. His license to practice also extends to the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals in Chicago, Illinois.

Attorney Godshalk has extensive trial experience presenting many cases to completion in front of judges and juries.

October 14, 2010: CROWN POINT, IN:

Prosecutors dismiss Class A Felony Batttery due to continued requests by Attorney Godshalk to produce the alleged victim for deposition which saves the defendant the potential sentence of 20 -50 years in jail.

June 25, 2010: CROWN POINT, IN:

Woman sentenced to 3 years of probation despite being originally charged with Dealing in Heroin a Class A felony, Dealing in Cocaine a Class B felony, Dealing in a Controlled Substance a Class B felony, Possession of a Controlled Substance a Class D felony, Possession of Marijuana a Class D fellony and Maintaining a Common Nuisance a Class D felony and facing a sentence of 32 to 90 years in the Department of Corrections.

March 14, 2008: CROWN POINT, IN:
Prosecutors dismiss Murder charge the week before trial when they realize that the evidence does not support the allegation that the defendant shot a 7 year old boy.

February 28, 2008: CROWN POINT, IN:
Prosecution of a man accused of 2 counts of Class A Robbery dismissed because Attorney Godshalk continued to request deposition of alleged victim who refused to cooperate.

February 8, 2008: CROWN POINT, IN:
Judge forced to dismiss Attempted Murder, Aggravated Battery, Criminal Confinement and Battery case due to Attorney Godshalk’s pursuit of evidence.

September 20, 2007: CROWN POINT, IN:
Jury finds man not guilty of Battery with a Deadly Weapon and Attempted Battery with a Deadly Weapon even though alleged victim identified defendant.

June 25, 2007: CROWN POINT, IN;
Jury finds Attorney Godshalk’s client not guilty of Class B Felony Dealing in Cocaine despite video evidence of hand-to-hand buy with police informant.

May 7, 2007: CROWN POINT, IN:
Judge finds man not guilty of Class C Molestation.

October 11, 2006: CROWN POINT, IN:
Judge awards Attorney Godshalk’s client over $8,000 in damages for an auto collision even though his client would have accepted approximately $4,000 before trial.

August 30, 2006: CROWN POINT, IN:
State of Indiana is forced to dismiss 9 felony counts of Criminal Recklessness due to testimony gathered by Attorney Godshalk during deposition.

March 24, 2006: CROWN POINT, IN:
Jury finds former bank employee not guilty of Class C felony Fraud on Financial Institution and Class D felony Theft despite video evidence.
